About Me

I was born in Vallejo, CA and grew up around the Bay Area my whole life where I witnessed the tech industry continously grow from increase in demand for software engineers to autonomous vehicles driving themselves through the city. After going through college online due to Covid-19 and the pandemic, I felt lost and confused on what I should be doing and studying for the future. At first I wanted to become an aerospace engineer but the idea of a software engineer was always there in the back of my mind so I feel very lucky to have started my journey into the tech industry here at Dev/Mission and while I don't know which field I want to pursue exactly, I hope to find out through this program.
